Feder Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-10-16
Last updated: Nov 5, 2026
1. What Feder is
Feder ("we", "us") watches the tracking on the sites you connect and sends alerts when it breaks. Feder reads the apps you connect from the Connections page (analytics, tag managers, ads, commerce and payments, email, scheduling and more) and the page tag from Connect with code. It only reads: it never changes anything in those apps, except a change you ask Feder to make, such as fixing a GA4 key event, which Feder makes once with one-time access. Feder does not provide marketing services, analytics consulting, or data analysis.
Feder uses YouTube API Services for its YouTube connection. By using Feder's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
2. Who can use Feder
- Feder is operated from the United States. Your data is stored and processed in the US. If you use Feder from outside the US, you understand that your information is transferred to the US.
- You must be at least 18 years old and using Feder for business purposes.
- You must also have reached the age of majority where you live, if it is older than 18, and be authorized to act for the business you sign up.
- By creating an account, you confirm you have the authority to connect the apps, sites, and GA4 properties you add, and that you have any permissions your clients require for you to monitor their analytics.
3. Accounts, staff, and client viewers
- Your Feder account belongs to your agency (or business). You are responsible for everyone you invite.
- Circle includes the owner plus 2 people who can act in the account. Viewers are free and unlimited.
- Client-viewer logins are included so your clients can see their own workspace. Client viewers can only see the workspace you assign them. They cannot see other clients' data.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
4. Plans and pricing
Feder has two plans, Free and The Circle, and a founding way to join The Circle. Lifetime is reserved for a small, named group of members who receive Feder's top tier free for life, including the future higher tier. Lifetime members are never charged. All prices are in US dollars. The price you see is the price you pay. Nothing is added at checkout.
- Free - $0. Feder checks your connected sites weekly.
- The Circle - $39/month. Feder checks your connected sites daily. You can also pay yearly at the founding rate below. The monthly price is not locked or guaranteed.
- Free-year Circle - Your account activates when Feder verifies your first connection. Invited businesses that pass screening get full Circle free for 12 months from activation, when Feder verifies their first connection. Free-year members are not Lifetime members. When your free year ends, the founding rate stays available to you for 30 days, then closes.
- Paid founding Circle - Founding Circle costs $360 per year. That annual rate is locked for life for the same email address while you stay subscribed. Founding closes publicly at 50 active annual subscribers. Monthly subscribers do not count toward the 50.
The higher tier checks every 4 hours. There is no cap on the number of connected sites or properties.
A "site" is one GA4 property or one site connected with Feder's code.
You earn a $30 credit for each paying referral. Monthly referrals earn the credit only and do not count toward Circle free for life. Ten qualifying annual referrals earn you Circle free for life for your one business. This reward is not the Lifetime tier. A referral counts toward Circle free for life when the referred business is a paying annual subscriber, has activated through its first verified connection, and has stayed past its first month. Referrals must be real businesses, self-referrals are not allowed, and the reward cannot be transferred.
5. Signing up, trials, and codes
- You can sign up without a card. A new account starts on Free, unless a code or offer you signed up with says otherwise.
- The Free plan keeps watching your sites with the weekly check for as long as you have an account.
- To move to The Circle, an Admin on your account chooses monthly or yearly billing in your billing settings. Prices are in section 4.
- Codes and invitations. Some sign-ups use a code or link from Feder or from a member: a Lifetime or founder code, a free-year invitation, or a referral link. Each one gives only what it was issued for.
- Free year. Your account activates when Feder verifies your first connection. Invited businesses that pass screening get full Circle free for 12 months from activation, when Feder verifies their first connection. Free-year members are not Lifetime members. When your free year ends, the founding rate stays available to you for 30 days, then closes. A free year needs no card and is never charged: when it ends, your account moves to Free unless an Admin chooses a paid plan.
- Scan trial. Feder offers this trial only on some scan results, and only while it is available. Submit your email on a scan result to get full Circle free for 14 days, with no card required. Your 14 days start when Feder verifies your first connection, or on day 7 after sign-up if you never connect. If you have not paid when your trial ends, your account moves to Free and keeps your data. Free keeps 90 days of history. Lifetime has no trial.
- Invite-only periods. At times Feder opens new accounts only to people with a code or an invitation. During those times, requesting scan results or joining the waitlist does not create an account or start a trial.
6. Billing, auto-renewal, and failed payments
- The Circle renews every month and the founding plan renews every year, until you cancel. The renewal charge uses your saved payment method.
- Failed payments: if a renewal charge fails, our payment processor retries it. If it still has not succeeded when the subscription ends, an account on The Circle moves to the Free plan: your sites keep being watched with the weekly check, and only the paid features stop.
- Billing is handled by our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms for payment processing.
7. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel any time, self-serve, through the Stripe Customer Portal (linked from your Feder account settings). If you cannot use the portal, email support@getfeder.com and we will process it.
- After you cancel, you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you already paid for (the month for The Circle, the year for the founding plan). Then an account on The Circle moves to the Free plan.
- No refunds or prorations for partial periods. Because you can cancel any time and keep access through the paid period, we do not refund a partial month or year.
- To delete your account while a paid plan is still set to renew, cancel the plan first; Feder will not delete an account while a plan is still set to renew.
8. Price changes
- If we ever raise the price of a plan, other than the founding annual rate in section 4, we will notify you at least 30 days before the increase applies to your subscription.
- The notice goes to your account email. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before the increase takes effect (section 7). Continuing past the effective date means you accept the new price.
9. Support
- Support is email to support@getfeder.com. A note you send from the in-app help reaches the same inbox.
- We reply within 3 business days.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Connect apps, sites, or GA4 properties you do not have permission to monitor.
- Attempt to access other customers' workspaces or data.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
- Use Feder for anything unlawful.
We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
11. Service scope and limitations
- Feder watches the apps you connect from the Connections page and the page tag from Connect with code. Which apps can be connected changes over time; the Connections page shows the current list.
- Feder detects tracking failures and sends alerts. It does not guarantee it will catch every failure, and it is not a substitute for your own quality assurance.
- Answers in the in-app help are written by AI from your account's data. They can be wrong. Check anything important, or ask a person at support@getfeder.com.
- The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Feder's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is capped at the total fees you paid to Feder in the 12 months before the claim arose. Feder is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
13. Disputes: California law and binding arbitration
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Binding arbitration: any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in California, under the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules. You and Feder each waive the right to a jury trial.
- Class-action waiver: disputes must be brought individually. You agree not to participate in any class, collective, or representative action against Feder.
- Small-claims carveout: either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court instead of arbitration, if the claim qualifies.
- Opt-out: you may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@getfeder.com with the subject "Arbitration opt-out".
14. Notices
- Legal notices to you will be sent to your account email address.
- Legal notices to Feder must be sent to 269 24th Street, Oakland, California, 94612 and to support@getfeder.com.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to your account email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Feder after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
